birch.company is committed to making this site usable for everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility is treated as part of the quality bar for every page, not an afterthought.
What we do
Built to WCAG 2.1 AA
Every page is developed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, level AA, and verified with automated audits (axe-core, Lighthouse) on each release.
Semantic, keyboard-first HTML
Real headings, landmarks, and labels; every interactive element is reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, with visible focus states.
Colour and contrast
Text and interface colours are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios, including a deliberate adjustment of our muted grey for small labels.
On-page accessibility menu
A control on every page lets you enlarge the text, raise contrast, underline links, or switch to greyscale. Your choices are remembered on your device.

Look for the accessibility button in the lower corner of every page. Opening it gives you a few adjustments you can make yourself:
- Text size — enlarge or reduce the text on the page.
- High contrast — strengthen the contrast of text and borders.
- Highlight links — underline every link so they stand out.
- Greyscale — remove colour from the page content.
Your selections are saved in your browser on this device, so the site remembers them on your next visit. Choose Reset all to return to the default appearance.
Standards we work to
WCAG 2.1 level AA — the baseline this site is built and tested against.
Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts WCAG 2.0 AA, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations.
The accessibility expectations applied under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which courts read against WCAG.
EN 301 549 and the accessibility principles of the European Accessibility Act, to the extent they apply.
